Through this portfolio I wanted to portray the effect of anorexia on the young mind, and how recovery impacts one's everyday life. My life came to a halt when I was hospitalized with anorexia for 14 weeks shortly after I turned 17. I use a mixture of medias to portray the struggle of living with an eating disorder. Throughout realism within the pieces I wanted to highlight the idea that my eating disorder was a real entity living my life with me, and diluting my core memories.
